Dr. Smiley obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington before pursuing a career in National Defense, working for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. for five years. He graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 2018 and became board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Smiley enjoys competing in triathlons and spending time with his wife outdoors.
